Prior to Oracle, Barbara worked at Sun Microsystems were she focused on creating innovative strategic programs and partnerships that required strategy creation, talent resourcing, development planning, and technology integration. She also managed the compliance responsibilities for over $1.8 Billion dollars in government contracts. On the Global Diversity & Inclusion Team at Google, Sarah provides leadership for the design and development of key workforce diversity and inclusion initiatives. Sarah currently manages a team focused on leveraging data to drive diversity strategies, engaging Googlers in diversity and inclusion initiatives, and managing company-wide diversity goals. She serves on the Human Rights Campaign’s Diversity & Inclusion Council and has spoken at numerous conference and events, including the Out & Equal Workplace Summit and the Creating Change Conference. Sarah joined Google in in July of 2007 on the University Programs Team, focused on MBA outreach and recruiting, and moved to the Diversity Team in February 2009.

Prior to joining Google in July of 2007, Sarah worked as a Marketing Specialist for MBA Admissions at Harvard Business School. Sarah holds a Bachelors’ Degree from Georgetown University in Washington, DC and an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management in Los Angeles, CA.
